A stroke...talk about a way to make you slow down, take it easy and evaluate your life. In talking with family, friends, Søren and a good therapist we came down to the conclusion that some things need to go!
Soren and I are both cancer survivors, Sabina breast cancer and Soren lymphoma. When you come on the winning side of that fight you come to understand what is really important in your life...for us it was family and a healthy community. So with this added bonus we decided we needed to close the business and Sabina to keep her job...it was fun and easy and didn't create stress in her life.
Sadly it also meant cutting ties with some small business contacts and some people who we thought were friends. You find out through big health events in your life who your true family and friends are...unfortunately for me it meant cutting out all of my old contacts and friends leaving only family.
To be honest I couldn't deal with their drama anymore and they spoke such harsh words against my family and support system that it made cutting those ties easy.
